Kerala PSC Assistant Engineer Civil Notification:

Kerala PSC has invited application from qualified candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Public Works/Irrigation department. Before applying for the post candidates should register as per One time Registration through the official website. The official Notification published by Kerala Public Service Commission is as follows.
  1. Department: Public Works/Irrigation
  2. Name of Post: Assistant Engineer (Civil)
  3. Scale of pay: ₹ 39500-83000
  4. Number of vacancies: Anticipated
  5. Method of appointment: ( I ) Category No: /18 :Direct Recruitment. ( II ) Category No: /18 :Direct recruitment from Departmental candidates of PWD only(for appointment in PWD). ( III ) Category No: /18 : Direct recruitment from Departmental candidates of Irrigation Department only (for appointment in Irrigation Department)
  6. Age limit: For Direct Recruitment (Category I ):- 21-40, only candidates born between 02/01/1978 and 01/01/1997(both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward communities)
  7. Qualifications: (A ).Category I to III (A) (i)B Sc/B Tech Degree in Engineering (Civil) of the Kerala University or B.E Degree (Civil) of the Madras University or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto OR (ii) Associate Membership Diploma of the Institution of Engineers, India, in Civil Engineering or any other Diploma recognized as equivalent thereto
Kerala PSC Assistant Engineer Civil Syllabus:

 Kerala Public Service Commission has decided to conduct an exam for the post of Assistant Engineer Civil in Public Works / Irrigation department. All Previous Question Papers of Assistant Engineer exams conducted by Kerala PSC is available here. Basic Syllabus for the exam is as follows.

 Syllabus: An Objective Type Test (OMR Valuation) based on the qualification prescribed for the post.

 Main Topics:-

 Part I : General Knowledge, Current Affairs & Renaissance in Kerala

 Part II : Questions based on Educational Qualification

  (Maximum Marks : 100)
(Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes)

 (Medium of Questions : English)
